Pictures to Share

Don't you wish you could do laundry this way?
If you look closely, you can see that K is holding two balls in one hand and using her right hand to hold the third. She now knows how to say yellow, but it sounds more like yelalalalalo. I think she really likes the "ls". She can also say purple, blue (for blueberry), and PaPa (this is for my grandpa, she loves going to his house).
Here K and grandmom are eating blueberries. K enjoys them quite a bit, maybe a little too much.
Here is dada and K enjoying the beautiful weather. Check out that blue sky. Things are going well for us. We are waiting for the market to pick up in the selling of our house, but we are doing good here in L.A. (also known as "God's country"--mommy might be a little biased on that one:)

Summertime Fun

K and mommy have been enjoying the summer. Bath time is so much more fun now that the cast is gone and sometimes she even gets to just hang out a little in the living room before getting her jamies on. Daddy is working at AT&T right now and he is enjoying the whole "working" thing. Mommy is working on getting her paperwork ready and as of right now she is going to be teaching 9th grade English and she might already have a room with windows:)

Da-Da Day Fun

K had fun on Da-Da's day. She got to hang out with everyone after a fun day at church.
She ate some good food and even had a grilled hotdog.
Kicked back a little bit with the family.
Da-Da even took K outside. In this picture she is pointing out where the horses live across the yard from us.
In this picture you can see her excitement/surprise when she actually sees a horse looking at her. All in all it was a good day.

Summertime Fun!

Feeling a little dizzy, but other than that I'm enjoying my daddy time. I'm also getting a neck stretch and I don't even know it!!! They are getting sneakier every day.
This is my grandaddy. I love him lots. He chases me and likes to hug me. I also like impersonating him.
Here I am pondering my cuteness. Sometimes mommy is overwhelmed with the cuteness and yet she doesn't let me have those cheetos!! Who needs to eat healthy?
Here I am in my cool fire hat. I'm on my way to bath time so don't disturb me please. I can't be bothered with any other distractions.

Mommy Got a Job!

Mommy is now a lion! She got a job teaching at the high school she graduated from, which is very exciting for her. She will be teaching 9th graders and she is looking forward to it. Right now we are just enjoying the summer. As you can see, I am getting into whatever I can. I am a danger so mommy better watch out!
Ever watch Jaws? I'm on the search for something to eat. Imagine the theme music in the background:)

Meet Pebbles Flinstone

Here is our little Huck Finn. She is enjoying her time in Alabama and being cute and barefoot.
I don't want to toot my own funnel (I mean horn), but I am just one talented little girl. Not only can I make musical instruments out of simple household supplies, I can also create stacking blocks out of butter dishes. I don't know how mommy and daddy were so fortunate to get me.
Today was the first day we were able to put K's hair up in a hair clip. Not much hair, but it worked pretty well.
Alabama is quite humid and K's hair shows this very well. Her little curls were just going crazy today. Things are going well here. Nate and I are still looking for jobs, but we both have some very promising leads. I have been interviewed at one school and now it is just a "wait and see" time. Those of you who know me well know that that is very difficult. Patience has never been one of my virtues;) Just wanted to let all of you know that we are doing well!

Memorial Day Weekend 2007

Here I am just enjoying my milk. We haven't left for my great uncle's house yet, but I am excited!!
I didn't really enjoy this experience, but it might help next time if my cousin keeps the engine running. The startup scared me a little bit. She taught mommy how to drive when she was five, but I don't know if I'll be able to do that. Mommy is onto her.
I am truly a "busy bee" and this outfit was perfect. I entertained most of my family at the reunion and I of course was a hit!
Like my skirt???
Mommy didn't get the hint that I was hungry. I finally just had to do it myself.
Sorry for the delay, but we have had a very busy weekend. The reunion was very good and we enjoyed meeting great-grandaddy for the first time. We are glad to be home!
