Precious Moments

Mommy those eyelashes look really cool. Mind if I borrow them for a little while? Oh, are they attached? Just checking.
Look into my eyes...now bark like a dog. Yes, I have complete control!
K shares my intense hatred of clowns. That fear is just unexplainable, but clearly it is genetic.
See how mommy and daddy starve me? I am resorting to eating socks. What a world.

Pictures for You!

K has a cool software game on the computer now. She and daddy are enjoying time (little does she know it is learning).
That's really interesting. Maybe daddy will let me type up some love letters to my beau.
Oh, how I love bath time!!!

See My Teeth?

K has a look of shock. Aunt Amy must have really scared her:) Daddy is home now and we are very glad that he is back. While he was gone, K and I worked on saying 'mama". She is starting to mimic and she is actually starting to say her m's. I think Nate would vouch for that. He wants her to say dada first, but I think K and I have reached an agreement. Things are going well here and we are enjoying the fall weather. It is finally nice enough to be outside. Thank goodness. (click on the picture twice to see her teeth)

Miss You Daddy:(

Daddy left us and we miss him lots. You can't tell how much from this picture, but then I don't get sad very easily.
Laundry baskets are the newest rage! I didn't realize how very cool it is to just sit and chill. Mommy felt I needed some time alone to gather my thoughts.
My little blue jeans can't get any cuter. I am such a big girl now I can sit in the recliner all on my own.
Wait!!! The laundry basket was a bad idea!!! Mommy, help!?!?!
Okay, now that the adventure is done I am just taking a refreshing drink of juice. Maybe I will let mommy sleep tonight. (don't count on it)

Enjoying a Saturday

I don't understand the obsession with tags, but K seems to enjoy them.
I enjoy just hamming it up. Mommy has fun just watching me entertain myself.
This little dress was given to K by Kathryn. Here's for you Kat:)
See the collection of the hair? How very sad.
K enjoys holding daddy and pulling his hair. We watched our first Auburn football game yesterday! War Eagle!!!

I'm 8 Months Old Today!!!

Bathtime is just such a precious time.
My tag is my friend. My tag is my friend. Check out those eyes.
Daddy is reading me a book. I am just wanting to eat it.

Curious George

Notice K's little anklet. She couldn't figure out how to get it off so she kept pulling it up further.
Somebody said the box was more fun! They were right!!!
My little shoes are just so interesting. Whoever invented shoelaces was a genius!
Like my hat? Mommy let me play with her mixing bowl. She doesn't cook much so I don't think she will notice it missing.
Here I am attacking daddy! He didn't know what hit him.

UhOh Here Comes Trouble

Don't know if we should encourage this behavior, but there you have it. Pretty soon our home will become a disaster area. No thing of value will be safe. The house isn't completely baby-proof, but obviously there is no room for delay.

I've Got Fangs!

Zoom in on this picture to see the little daggers. You can also check out what she was eating at the time! We are having a real hard time catching her with her mouth open for a picture, but daddy managed to do it. She is such an interesting little girl. Never a dull moment let me assure you!

Happy Birthday Granddaddy

K loves playing with the cups now. This was a cup of water and needless to say I didn't drink from it after she was finished with it.
What a little sweetheart!
I thought her mouth looked like the Joker from Batman.
Bathtime has taken on a new meaning with the chair. She really enjoyed sitting up and just looking around. You can't really tell, but she has a combover.
Today is granddaddy's birthday and we just wanted to say a special Happy birthday!

See You Soon Momma and Poppa G

K has helped Momma G with her sewing. She is such a good little helper.
K is working on her sitting unassisted and she is doing a great job.
Just try to tear those blocks away from K. Momma and Poppa G had to leave us today and K went back to daycare. We enjoyed having family here and K entertained them quite a bit I think. Thanksgiving will be a busy one, especially with two little girls crawling all over the place!

The Amazing Feats of K

K has become so talented that she now is able to move around in her swing. Not very comfortable, but she soon figured that out for herself. What a little Houdini!
Up close and personal!!!
The toe jam adds that special flavor! Mommy wishes she could be that flexible. No amount of pilates would make that happen.
K is sitting up so well now. Her viewpoint on life is a little bit more grown up now that she is such a big girl. Growing up too fast too quick.
K started out on the blanket, and using her powerful legs she scooted herself all the way to the pack and play. That was quite a trip believe me. She was so very proud of herself. Afterwards, you can see that she was a little pooped. Sleeping was great that night.

Being a Kid is Fun!

Here I am getting to play with bananas without a spoon for the first time. I am not sure what to think of it.
Now I am seeing where I should put my bananas that are on my hand. I think my leg and highchair need mushed bananas.
What do you mean that you have to clean that? Oh, thats funny!

Now I get to get cleaned up and I am experiencing bubbles for the first time. So fun!
What do you mean its almost bedtime!?!? I'm not done yet! Oh well, I guess I get to do it all over again tomorrow.

Aren't I Cute?

K is beginning to sit on her own quite well. You can see that she enjoys being such a big girl.
Sporting her "Old Navy" ball cap. Can't get any cuter than this.
