Merry Christmas to All

Here K is helping out with Christmas lights. Such a great little helper.
One of the cities around us has a wonderful little housing community for Christmas. K loved trying to get into the buildings.
Here we are waiting for Santa in the parade.
I don't think Santa will be forgetting her this year! We can't wait to see her expression tomorrow morning!!! Merry Christmas to all of you out there!

Our Cheesy Rose

Here are some cheesy pictures to share with you! K is doing alright, but her asthma has been acting up recently. She is on some medication to help with it, but other than that she is doing great. Can't wait for Christmas this year. I'm sure she will enjoy all of the presents.

When You're Cute You're Cute

Here is K in her lovely little Scottish skirt.
K has a real feeling of closeness with her babies. She likes to get into the thick of things, closer to their level. That's the sign of a good mother right there.

So...Just In Case You Thought We Were Gone

I recognize and take responsibility for the fact that I am a procrastinator. Something that I hound my students for all of the time. Apologies abound. We are all doing well now, but it seems like forever since we have been 100 percent health wise. Here are some pictures to enjoy. The one above is K's Thanksgiving dinner. She was still feeling a little puny so she didn't eat much. We were all recouping that day.
Here is K's lovely Christmas shirt. She probably won't see any snow this year in Alabama, but you never know with that global warming:)
K loved the Christmas lights. Matter of fact, she is not content unless the tree lights are on. Beware of the wrath of K. She has also put a few of her ornaments on the tree, obviously the indestructible ones. We can't wait for Christmas this year. She is going to go nuts!!!

Our Weekend in Georgia

First off, we have all been sick. K is still recovering from the stomach bug and as you can see in the picture above, she likes to care for herself. It has been a mess of a few weeks!
When we arrived in Georgia K was put right to work:) Here she is helping out our neighbors from Georgia. We spent the Veteran's Day weekend with them and had a good time visiting with our friends up there. It was relaxing, but definitely busy!!
Here K is enjoying their moonwalk. Before we left, she was still a little bit unsteady on her feet, but as you can see, she enjoys this moonwalk a lot now!!
When we came home, K decided that her baby would like to practice walking. Of course, she firs needed to wear her "shooos." She is getting a wide variety of words in her little vocabulary and it is great to watch her develop.

Pictures Coming

Pictures are on the way. We are all getting over the stomach bug, so it has been a real mess lately. Don't worry. I have about 110 pictures to get on the computer.

Such a Beautiful Princess in the Fall

K made a trip to pick out a pumpkin this past Sunday. She had a great time.
Then she got all dressed up on Wednesday for a Trunk-n-Treat. She was excited to be a princess.
Her trunk was transformed into her bedroom and she had a crib full of candy to hand out to kids. She had a great time filling other kids' bags with candy while she snuck a piece in for herself every once and a while.
Then her "Friend" G came over and they hung out for a bit. Mommy thinks they are a steady item, but daddy is not quite so sure.
G and K then took a stroll to check out all the other kids costumes and to find where the pony rides were. All in all it was a good time.

Crazy Little Hippo

Football, Football, Football

K got to enjoy her first football game here in Alabama. She loved the band, but she enjoyed being silly the most. Here daddy is "watering" her. She started to get bored, but her buddy from church came over and they had fun just flirting with each other. We are really worried about their relationship:)
Attentively watching the game. This lasted for approximately two seconds and then she was bored again. Constantly keeping us on our toes!!!

Our Little Joy

K got these at the Homecoming parade. She just waved and people threw them. Guess they couldn't resist those baby blues.
What's UP?

Time Flies By

Well, it has been a long time since we have last posted, but K is growing like crazy! We are planning on going to a football game and I am curious as to how she will enjoy the band and the noisy football players. Her hair is growing by leaps and bounds and she is working on being incredibly cute. She really doesn't have to try that hard.

She loves stuffing her mouth full of grapes.
She loves playing in the bath and having messed up hair.
She loves eating daddy's pretzels.
And then eating more of daddy's pretzels.

A Better Week!

Dada won't stop sticking these things on me!!! He is so silly sometimes.
It's official, our little girl is getting too much hair!!!
Here K is feeding her Cabbage Patch baby a pretzel. She was irritated that the baby wasn't appreciating the gift.
Here K is up to her same old mischief. She is enjoying her "POP." I turned around and there she was sitting in a bowl. She definitely keeps us on our toes.
We met with K's new doctor in Mobile this week. We will probably not be going back to Shriners because of the distance and just our inability to take off that much time from work. This doctor did his internship at the Shriners we were at and he definitely seems to know his stuff. He is a little bit on the rough side, but I know he will be good for her and us. Our house will hopefully close this week and then we will be free to pursue whatever here in Alabama. I don't know what else to put down here today, but I am going to try to get a video posted soon of K showing her spirit.

Bein' a Beach Bum

The reason we have not been faithful posters is the fact that: K has been sick, I have been sick, and daddy has been working. Things have been crazy to say the least, but we are all feeling a little bit better. Momma and Poppa G have been down here for the week and K has spent some time just enjoying the beach. She loves all the "wawa" and the sand is pretty cool too. Momma and Poppa G definitely have gotten some "concentrated K" time:) They head out tomorrow and we will definitely miss them. Here is our little cookie monster. She loves those chocolate chip cookies!!!

Sorry for the Delay!

Mommy has been sick and so have I. We just now feel like posting:) Aunt Amy is going through withdrawal so we have to let her have some pictures! Here I am modeling my Dora outfit(a gift from my great aunt and uncle). They just couldn't resist getting this for me.
So this is my "cuteness" face. I don't know if you can tell it, but this little crown sums it all up...PRINCESS!
My Uncle Eric is one weird guy! He makes some pretty weird faces. I try to mimic, but I think I still look cuter!
These were gifts to me from one of my Georgia cousins. She wanted to give it to the "right" person and I was it! Thank you so much. I love pushing the button on the swing and making music to dance to.
Dada has finally come back to us after training. We missed him a lot and now I'm just glad he's home!!! I even made him a poster so he would know that "I Love DADA!!!"
Momma G and Poppa G are coming to visit me in a few weeks and I can't wait! They finally get to have some time with me:) Once they see me, I don't think they'll return home:)

Dada's Coming!!!

Dada had to leave us this week for training, but he's on his way home tonight! I won't see him tonight, but when I wake up tomorrow morning will I ever be surprised:) He has to leave on Sunday, but we will enjoy this weekend!!!

Working Hard or...Hardly Working?

Silly grandmom. Let me show you how to do this properly.
Watch my hand and the movements I make. You really aren't listening are you grandmom?
Gotta love those kisses. I love you dada!
