Scoliosis Update
We just got back a little while ago from the doctor's office. K had an appointment about her brace. She is currently at 3 feet and 30 pounds. According to the nurse, she is perfect for her height. The doctor also told us that he wants her out of the brace completely until August and then we will reevaluate everything. This will be a nice change for K. She can sleep completely free!!! He seemed pleased with how she was doing, which was nice. It always felt like our appointments would come back with something negative. Just wanted all of you to know how the little rose is doing:)

The Disciples
So our little girl has been learning about Jesus and the disciples at her little preschool. Thursday her teacher was telling them the story about the men cutting a hole in the ceiling to lower the crippled man down to see Jesus. K had a very intelligent response: If Luke is a doctor, why didn't they just take the man to him? Make sense doesn't it? Matthew is also the "money man" according to K. She thinks in such a different way sometimes that it floors us when she does this. Thought all of you would like to know how she keeps us on our toes:)

What an Amazing Kid
So we were getting ready for church Sunday and I put K's dress on her and put her sweater on her. I started buttoning her sweater and she insisted she would do it herself. Now buttons are not something she has done before and we were running short on time. I buttoned the top button and told her she could button the rest of the buttons herself. 20 quiet mins later I looked at her after I was ready for church and behold. Her sweater is completely buttoned except for the top one I buttoned for her. This is the first time she has ever done buttons and she did them all by herself (with unbuttoning the top I did). Needless to say she got ice cream after lunch on Sunday. Talk about making some parents proud. When I made a big deal about it she looked at me as if she were thinking "silly daddy, if that is all it takes to get ice cream..."
