Difficult Questions
So we were at a football game last night and K pointed out that when she gets older she will have two hands like all of us. It was hard. It was so hard. I had to keep from losing it right there in the bleachers when she said those words. We are expecting another child in March, but that question brought concerns and questions about what it will be like when this baby boy comes into the world. Will our daughter resent the fact that he has two hands and she has one? Will she be able to jump rope like everyone else? How will she ride a bike? What do we do? I sit here crying as I write this because it hurts. It hurts so bad. I guess I don't know what I am looking for, but it has been easier to cope with this when she was unable to do many things because of age. Now she is so much more aware of everything. We need prayer more than anything else.

Enjoying Life
We are going to find if K has a brother or sister on Thursday this week! I am excited because she will get to see the baby and hear the heartbeat. It is something that is wonderful to be able to share with her. Things are going well. We are just waiting for fall weather. Some day it will get here. Fingers crossed:)

Update on Brace
K had her appointment with the doctor for her back yesterday. She has been out of the brace for quite some time and there was no change in her back! Thank God! This means that for right now she can go without the brace and we probably will be able to put off surgery for awhile. Her curve has not gotten worse, which is a real praise. I don't know if we could put her back in the brace:( She is growing like crazy and is learning so many things. It is never a dull moment at our house. October 1st we will be finding out if we are having a boy or a girl and K will go with us to hear and see the baby. I can't wait to sure this with her. She is definitely talking about the baby a lot more and I believe she realizes that life will be changing quite soon. As my mom says, she has a lot of love to give:)

First Week
This has been a very busy week. I went back to school and K got to go back to her school. I think she was more excited than I was:) K also had her very first dance class. I was going to get pictures, but the moms had to stay outside of the room and watch through the glass. It was wonderful to watch her tap dance like "Happy Feet" and twirl like a ballerina. Nate and I think this will be great for her scoliosis and torticollis, but I just want her to know that she can do whatever she puts her mind to. She is a strong little girl and I thank God for the blessing He has given us in her. Pictures will be coming, but I have to get her back in her leotard:)

Bad Blogger
So I had all of this great goals this summer. To keep this blog going, go to the beach three times a week, and just have a rockin' summer. The first two things didn't happen, but the third was true because I was with my little girl all summer. I have only a few days left and I am trying to think of what it will be like to not be around my little girl all day:( We have had fun, but I think I do bore her occasionally. This summer has been one of hairstyling, coloring, teaching imaginary students, and just being a summer bum. Most of you know by now that we are expecting in March another addition to our family and it is exciting. Scary too, but I would be remiss if I didn't admit that. K's condition is very rare, but it is still hard to be able to completely trust. I haven't figured out how to totally trust God, but I don't believe I am the only one out there. K is excited about having a baby in the family and she has already contributed names: boy-Madeline, girl-Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Needless to say, she won't be in the naming process. We will keep all of you updated and I promise to try to be better.

Summer is Here!!
Here K is getting married:) Don't want to rush that at ALL!!!
She wants a baby brother, but this picture really concerns me about the wisdom of that request:)
Here K is organizing her bears. She spends a lot of time lining things up just right. Notice how they are facing each other. Sometimes she amazes me in what she comes up with.
Well, we now have a new camera so if our computer cooperates I will be able to keep you updated over the summer. Summer is here and we are so excited! Next week we will be going to the mountains for a few days and then off to see our friends in Georgia. Nate has been up there recently, but K and I haven't. I can't wait to see our friends. It seems like forever! K is losing her baby fat and growing so fast. She looks more like a little girl every day:( Don't know if this mommy is ready for that. Happy summer!!

Preschool Performances
Here K is singing songs for the preschool graduation. She has been practicing for quite awhile.
Mommy got to have a flower given to her by her little girl. It was wonderful.
This is how we came into the performance. She saw us and lit up. Gotta love that!!
Cheese!! Our little girl is growing up and up every day. It feels like her dresses are shrinking overnight!

Spring Break with the Fam!!
K and C really bonded over the break. He was her personal chaffeur in her gator. She can't steer yet, so he was the best thing for her:)
My little princesses enjoyed their popsicles on the front porch.
Here is a bathing beauty soaking up the sun rays at "da beach."
Spa time with the "Other Aunt Amy". K and M enjoyed being pampered on the kitchen floor.
Here are all of the crazy cousins attacking Uncle Nate/aka Daddy. We had a wonderful time with them during Spring Break and we are already looking forward to the next time we can get all of these munchkins together. I have more pictures, but this was all I could fit today.
